Words are powerful.  In face, your words shape your destiny.  Proverbs 18:21 states that the tongue contains the power of life and death.  The words you speak, whether positive or negaive, will ultimately determine your quality of life. This is especially true in the area of family. What you say to your spouse and children will either build them up and head them toward the path to abundant life, or will otherwise tear them down and place them on the road to self-destruction.
