How to Experience the Love of God

One of the most powerful aspects of a personal relationship with God is our faith in His love for us. We may think we have to jump through hoops and do all the right things to experience it; however, all we need to do is believe in His love for us. When we know God from firsthand experience, we are empowered to do things beyond our natural capabilities. This includes loving people when they do unlovable things and forgiving them even when they hurt us. Jesus came not to condemn us for our sins, but to love us in the midst of them and lead us out of them through His mercy and compassion. Once we encounter His goodness, we will never be the same.
