Financial giving is one of the biggest ways we can demonstrate our trust in God. However, religion has distorted it to the point where we think that we must give, first, before we can be blessed. When we give with the right motivation, miracles will happen; conversely, when we give grudgingly, nothing will happen. Giving must come from the heart; it should be done joyfully and thankfully because of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this relationship, we learn that God wants to make us successful and bless us with all good things—including material wealth. Abraham received multiple blessings not because he earned them, but because he believed God. When we have faith like Abraham, we inherit the same blessings.
