Understanding Faith and the Gospel

There is a definite connection between what we believe and what the gospel says. When life throws challenges at us and worldly systems fail, our faith in God’s Word and the knowledge of how to rightly divide it give us victory over adversity. Applied properly, faith does not allow us to take the credit for anything good that happens, but instead acknowledges that God is responsible for it. Knowing how His grace and our faith fit together gives us success. God already has a provision waiting for us that will address everything that happens to us; the finished works of Jesus have made available to us all the answers and solutions we will ever need.
